After many years of planning, saving and watching all our friends heading off on holidays, the big trip is finally on!!!!!!
On the 28th June the Young family from Mulgrave, Melbourne Australia set off on their BIG adventure.

Family members travelling are:
Brian - who likes to think he is the head of the family - age undisclosed
Helen - she who must be obeyed - age definitely undisclosed
Courtenay - 14 year old ballerina princess with a hair obsession
Rebecca - 13 year old swimming sensation.

Our commiserations go out to our first born - James 21, who is studying hard in Perth in his quest to become a Helicopter Pilot in the Australian Navy. Work hard James and we will be thinking of you.

Where are we going you ask:

Our first stop is Hong Kong for 4 nights.
Then we are off to London to see the Queen, and probably a few other things.
After 3 nights in London we hop on board the Eurostar (at 6.30am!) and approximately 3 hours later - voila! we are in France.

Here the fun really begins. Brian gets to expereince driving on the wrong side of the road as we head for Annecy in the French Alps, where Jean-marc will be waiting with a magnificent selection of French delicacies and liquid refreshments............ to be continued!
